| MISSION |
The NCYD in collaboration with local churches,
organizations and local government proposes to
effectively provide activities and programs for
participating youth, their parents and the
community. These programs will enrich and
provide them with positive experiences whereby,
improving their quality of living and learning.
Our mission will be accomplished by not
duplicating already successful programs held in
the Media and Chester areas but by integrating
these programs while specifically targeting and
including at-risk youth in the immediate vicinity
that have not been able to take advantage of the
activities and programs in the past due to
financial difficulty. This project and its additional
workshops for mentoring and counseling will
improve their quality of living and learning.
These programs will also provide its participants
with the unique opportunity to participate in a
social (safe place) and meaningful environment.
